Karl Wohlwend performs throughout the United States, as a soloist and in chamber music. He is in demand for musical collaboration, appearing with such notables as Eric Ewazen, composer-in-residence at Julliard, Carlo Aonzo, the world's leading classical mandolinist, and Grammy-winning countertenor, Ian Howell. Recent appearances include performances with the Lancaster Festival Orchestra, with whom he recorded a Grammy-nominated recording of the music of William Bolcom; a week-long residency with Alarm Will Sound; and a performance at the Ravinia Festival’s “Rising Stars” series in Chicago. Karl has also recently formed the Eos Duo with flutist Kimberlee Goodman, and has collaborated with Eugene Braig in Gruviera Armonico since 2004.
